Jurassic Watering Hole

"In the middle of a heavy drought, a thirsty Marshosaurus grabs a quick drink. Unfortunately, it is soon interrupted by an aggressive bull Apatosaurus who isn't going to taking the little carnivore's presence lightly."

This was meant to be made a few days prior for the 'Morrison Formation Week', but this took longer than expected. As the awareness week ended May 31st, I tried finishing it for the 'International Dinosaur Day' on June 1st. Didn't finish on time lol. So at least it can be submitted for 'Jurassic June'. Due the the Apatosaur's robust body form, I kinda have a headcanon of it being quite the bruiser, with an attitude akin to Cape Buffalo. I like the idea of them being the bully of the sauropods at the time and wanted to display that here. I used Marshosaurus because not only is it a great size for this moment and composition, but it doesn't get enough love. A heard of Diplodocus are in the background moving around as many times multiple species of animals can be seen together at watering holes in Africa during times of extreme drought.
